Eastminster Presbyterian Church Donates $100,000 to Transitions Homeless Center

Dr. Brad Arnold, Senior Pastor of Eastminister Presbyterian Church, presents a check to the Transitions Team

Eastminster Presbyterian Church donated $100,000 to Transitions Homeless Center in support of
their mission to serve men and women experiencing homelessness across the Midlands of South
Carolina. This significant contribution will directly benefit the construction of a permanent
homeless shelter specifically designed for veterans and seniors.

“We are committed to supporting organizations that are making a real difference in our
community and we are happy to be donating to Transitions Homeless Center to help build
brighter futures for veterans and seniors. We pray the support we are able to provide will have a
lasting impact on the lives of veterans and seniors facing homelessness in our community” said
an Eastminster Pastor.

Transitions Homeless Center’s mission extends beyond providing shelter; they offer
comprehensive programs designed to help individuals and families transition out of
homelessness for good. The dedicated shelter for veterans and seniors will free up crucial space
within Transitions’ existing facilities, allowing them to help even more individuals experiencing
homelessness transition to permanent housing solutions.

“Eastminster Presbyterian Church has been such a great supporter of Transitions and those who
are unhoused in the Midlands. Their significant contribution will help the elderly and disabled
while also encouraging other churches to give to this worthwhile effort. We are so grateful for
Eastminster’s donation,” said Transitions Chief Executive Officer, Craig Currey
